About Mary Yerkes

Mary J. Yerkes is a professional Christian Life Coach, Chronic Illness Coach, Writing Coach, and Leadership Coach. She works with men and women, helping them find and fulfill their life’s purpose, the chronically ill, established and emerging women leaders, and new and aspiring nonfiction writers.

Like many of her clients, Mary lives with multiple chronic illnesses, including rheumatoid arthritis, ankloysing spondylitis, and psoriatic arthritis.

A widely published author, Mary is a frequent contributor to print and online publications, including Christian Coaching Magazine, Focus on the Family, and The Journal of Biblical Counseling, to name a few. She is the Expert Associate on Living with Chronic Illness for the National Association of Baby Boomer Women and serves as the Chronic Illness Expert for Retirenet.com.

Mary is also a popular speaker for church and community events. She covers diverse and multiple topics, including chronic illness management, personal development as a professional writer and speaker, calling and life purpose discovery, and more.

She is trained by the Professional Christian Coaching Institute and a member of the Christian Coaches Network and the International Coach Federation.

Mary holds herself accountable to the highest level of integrity, striving to honor Jesus Christ in all her associations with clients, colleagues, and organizations. She abides by the International Coach Federation's Code of Ethics.

Mary and her husband Paul make their home in Virginia, about 40 miles outside of Washington, DC. Together, they have one son Ricky and a daughter-in-law Diana.
